Mini Vacation

So we are leaving in the morning and heading to my husband's mom's house... we are going to have a sorta late Christmas with his family. I have been up really late tonight getting things ready and packing up as much as I can tonight! I finally got my makeup packed haha! I always hate packing makeup for a trip because I want to bring it all, but that would be a little extreme lol.. I am always afraid that if I don't bring a ton then I will end up not bringing something, and wanting to use it later!

I already have packed most of Michael's bag, except for his jeans and his toothbrush and toothpaste and all of those types of things... Elizabeth is not packed at all haha! Well I did get all of her baby food together already.. Clothes had to be washed and all sorts of things before I could even think about packing! Thankfully it has all been washed and here I am blogging at almost 1 in the morning when I should be sleeping (or packing)... of course ha ha.

Sadly though I may not end up blogging during this trip.. on the bright side though once we are home and everything gets back to normal I do have a few videos that I want to film and share with all of you!

One thing I really like about going to visit his family is that it can be really relaxing, plus there is soooo much more to do there than there is here where we live! And.... they have lots of fun places to shop at hehe, like MAC, Forever 21, and so many more! It's not fair that I don't have those places here where we live right now. I always have to order from them online, or drive over an hour to go there! So if I do any sort of shopping I will share it with you guys, but I have no idea if I will yet or not.

First Christmas

This was baby's first Christmas! At first I think she was a little confused about the whole unwrapping presents thing, but after three days of getting gifts, I think she is finally starting to get the hang of it haha! This was also our first Christmas in our house, last year Michael and I spent it with my mom in the mountains while Rob was across the world!!

Elizabeth loves to sit on her new giraffe and be pulled...this was right after she first seen it and Michael was pulling her around on it! Too Cute!!

She actually kept the little pink bow in her hair until I decided to take it out...what a Surprise!!

This Christmas has been so wonderful and a true blessing! I had both of my little ones with me as well as my husband home safely this year... I have truly felt blessed! This time last year not only was I worried about my hubby as well as almost 7 months pregnant... but I was Snowed In on top of a darn mountain!!! Literally, and it was not fun haha!

Pictures With Santa

So it's just a little after midnight here and I have finally finished all of my baking!! I made really cute sugar cookies and decorated them with lots of sprinkles, sugars, and holiday m&m's..

Then I made some pumpkin spice cupcakes with cream cheese frosting...AGAIN haha!

Earlier today we made a trip to the mall and the kids got pics with Santa...inserted below!!

After a few pics we finally got a little smerck out of Elizabeth...by this time I think Michael was tired of smiling haha!

Here are the cookies I made... they are lots of different Christmas shapes.. like stockings, trees, stars, candy canes, and a few more!! I was originally going to do them all different colors, but when I went to color the icing I totally forgot to separate it out into different bowls. So we just had all green icing. Michael stayed up the entire time helping me out in the kitchen... he really loved it! I finally had to get him to go get ready for bed since it was almost midnight... So Merry Christmas Eve to everyone and I hope you all have a wonderful holiday!!

Santa and Sugar Cookies

Tomorrow will be a really busy day... probably for all of us though. I made dough tonight for sugar cookies... me and Michael are going to cut them out into different Christmas shapes, I am going to bake them, and then we are going to decorate them with lots of fun sprinkles, colored sugars, and some M&M's! Aside from that I am also going to be making some pumpkin spice cupcakes with cream cheese frosting...again haha! I am going to take those to my grandpa's house on Christmas Eve along with a couple other things that I have to cook too..

During the day tomorrow will be filled with some fun festivities too, like going to see Santa Claus and getting Elizabeth's first Christmas ornament!

When I was little (back when I still believed in Santa) one year at my Grandma and Grandpa's house Santa and Mrs. Claus came to visit... Ok it wasn't really them but I didn't know any better haha! Friend's of my grandparents came all dressed up and I do mean dressed up.... and we even got to visit with them... they played the parts so so well! It was so much fun and I still have never forgotten that, even though I know now that it wasn't really Santa it still is one of my favorite memories. I can only hope that I can bring those special and unforgettable memories to my little ones as well!

 I will try my best to blog tomorrow since I know that I won't be able to Christmas Eve... I did have a cute hair tutorial to get up but I am not going to be able to get it up for a while(the hubby has been home and really sick)!! I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

The older you GET....the more you forGET

I had to run to the store to get some eggs so I took Michael(my seven year old) with me! Right down the road from my house there is a Food Lion and a Dollar General....they are literally like a five minute drive from my house. So I get to Food Lion and I literally thought I had passed the Dollar General already, my seven year old is like, "No....the Dollar Store is way after!" It's really sad when you have to get directions from your little ones because you can't remember if you passed it or not haha! Of course he was right too... Why do we start to forget everything the older we get?
Time goes by soooo fast once you get a little bit older and are out on your own...then once you have kids it literally FLIES by! I can't believe that Elizabeth will be a year old in less than 4 months...and then right after that I will be 25! Doesn't feel like I should be though haha... some of you may be a lot older and reading this thinking "Oh that's not old!",  but when you go through raising a 7year old on your own because your husband has to go away to war and then having a baby all at the same time by yourself...yeah you feel like you have been through everything!
So aside from kids making time fly by, being pregnant made forget EVERYTHING haha! I like to call that PB aka pregnancy brain...and I think that it stayed with me and never left!

I fixed my internet!

So if you guys read my beauty blog post last night then you seen that my internet crashed! I honestly have no idea what happened... one minute it was fine and then the next it acted insane. For my internet I have one of the broadband things that plugs into a USB port on my laptop. My daughter has smacked it a couple of times so it is a little bent, but it has been that way for months so I am not totally sure if that was the cause. It was crazy though, at first I thought that my computer crashed, because everytime I inserted the broadband into my computer the screen went black the first time and then everytime after that it went all static, sorta like when the tv can't pick up a channel and it gets all that snowy stuff on the screen! Yep, that was my laptop last night. So I just uninstalled it from my computer and waited all night long, who knows maybe it just got too hot, but I reinstalled it earlier and am using a different USB port on my laptop and it is working just fine! Thank goodness!

Aside from that on a funnier note... this morning the baby woke up super early again, so I went and made her a bottle and brought her into my room and laid down with her... after she finished her bottle she was really sleepy so I put her back into her crib. After my husband got done working out this morning he went and got her and when I got back up he asked me, "Did you take her pants off this morning?" I just kinda looked at him really funny and said no... He then informed me that she woke up this morning with her pants off and laying there in her crib haha! I have no idea how she managed that one, but the poor thing woke up pantsless! She has been in speedy mode all day long and right now she is SUPER sleepy and laying in her Daddy's lap playing with a toy...

Well I am just happy that my internet is working since I just paid the bill for it a couple of days ago, I wouldn't have been very happy if I paid for it and then wouldn't be able to use it till who knows when! I don't think there is a warranty on what I have, which isn't very good!

So that has been my crazy day so far!

Winter Break

I have decided that I will most likely be taking a "Winter Break" from my blogs...probably the day before Christmas Eve...only because I will just be too busy and traveling to maybe have time to blog! But when I come back I will have lots of fun things to video and to blog about, like a Christmas cosmetics haul and all that fun stuff haha!

Today's post isn't very long because nothing all that important happened today lol... I do wanna show you guys my favorite ornament on my tree right now though....

Isn't the little snowman super cute? I found him(Yes, I call it a him even though it's pink and glittery haha) last year right before Christmas at the Dollar General when all the Christmas decorations had went on sale, so I think I got him for just a couple bucks... I just think he is really cute. His arms and feet are connected by little springs lol, so they sorta bounce!

Well as I was in the middle of this blog, I took a quick break while the picture was loading, and I went to get my kids something to eat.... As I was in the kitchen I decided to refill my flour canister since the flour was low and I hadn't yet put the new bag in... While I was opening it I accidentally ripped the bag a little bit(grr), so when I was pouring it I was being careful not to let it spill out where the bag tore... Then I realized there was a little hole in the bottom of the bag too! Oh my gosh I seriously just got a HUGE pile of flour all over the floor and counter... it was rediculous, but now it's all cleaned up haha!

Seeing Santa?

This weekend will probably be pretty busy.... we are hoping to take the kids to see Santa, since this is Elizabeth's first Christmas, but I just don't know if we are going to be able to make it there before Christmas! Last year Michael had his picture made with Santa when we were on vacation.... I have a post all about our Christmas vacation last year--->Our Insane Vacation

This year I don't know what we are doing about Christmas pictures, and I am a little worried that Santa will scare the baby lol... she doesn't get scared of too many people, but some men she just does NOT like, and Santa may be one of them haha!

When Michael had his picture made with Santa last year it was totally last minute, so he wasn't really dressed for a picture lol... I had planned on taking him before Christmas, but we were in the mall and he randomly asked to have his picture made, I didn't think he would've wanted to so when he asked I jumped at the chance for him to do it! Pictures with him are a bit crazy, they cost about $20, which I could probably take a better one with my own camera lol...luckily there was NO line! It was awesome haha...and we were in an extrememly busy and HUGE mall at the time!

Whatever we decide to do for pictures, I will do my best to post them up for everyone to see!

The Busy World Of...

Being a mom is so rewarding and it truly is a wonderful and life changing experience! It's not always glamorous though....let me be the first to tell you that it can be very stressful at times! My kids really are great and well behaved most of the time haha...

There are tons of "No, don't touch that." Or "No ma'am..." here in my house, especially since baby can crawl and get into everything lol! There is lot's of nose wiping and diaper changing that goes on too.

My day is generally pretty busy.. it goes a little something like this:
I first wake up around 5:30 a.m. and get Michael ready for school...his bus usually comes between 6:20 and 6:30(she is never on time)! Then once he is off to school I rush to go back to sleep and pray that I get atleast a couple more hours of sleep before the baby wakes up. Usually it works out and she wakes up around 8:30. Today was really special she let me sleep until almost 10a.m., I couldn't believe it haha!!(probably only because she stayed up a little later last night than usual)
After she is up then it is constant chasing and running around until she decides to take her first nap.
Then it's the same thing all over again until she naps again...usually around 4p.m.! At that point Michael has been home for like 45 minutes and is either done with homework or still doing it.

I couldn't continue to go all in to detail and tell you every single last thing that goes on if we are at home and don't leave the house during the day...but that would probably really be boring..

So although being a mom can be really stressful and there is a lot of work that goes into it, I wouldn't trade it for the world!

Extreme Holiday Shopping

Ever notice how Holiday shopping is sorta like doing extreme sports haha?! It is just always so insanely packed and holiday shoppers can be crazy and mean! Thankfully I have never experienced the mean ones but the crazy ones yes!

So I know the pic above doesn't really have anything to do with what I bought on our little shopping trip today, but I just thought it was really cute and festive...

My main reason for making my shopping trip a little earlier in the day is because we had to go get a gift for my son before he got home from school. He wanted one of the V-tech laptops from Santa so we had to go and find one of those... The one that he had originally said he wanted was no longer in K-Mart... so we had to go search Wal-Mart for it.... let me point out that I don't really like Wal-Mart because they are always so insanely packed...even when it isn't Christmas time!!

We ended up finding this one... it's the V-tech Brilliant Creations. I can't believe how many different little computers they actually make, it's insane!

Although our trip to K-Mart wasn't a total bust we got almost all of the rest of our gifts there aka giftcards haha.

I literally bought a ton of gift cards at K-Mart and then ended up buying another one when we got to Wal-Mart! They always have lots to choose from so you don't have to travel all over the place getting different ones.

Did you guys know that they charge like $4 just to activate the gift cards, and not only that but they each have to be a separate transaction. That is totally rediculous!

So we ended up buying like 3 different American Express gift cards, one for my step-dad, brother, and my mother-in-law's boyfriend too. I got my grandpa a Bass Pro Shops gift card, and my mother-in-law a Sears gift card. They are all really hard to buy for so this was easier haha! Now I just need some little gift bags for them, and I do mean little. I still have to go back out and get my hubby's other gift too! Then I will finally be totally finished YAY!!!

Phases of the Moon

Tonight we were driving to go get Michael and the moon just looked so crazy!

My phone camera wasn't picking it up that well so I found this one online! It's the closest I could find to the way it looked... It just really got me to thinking about how crazy it is that we all see the same moon no matter where we live at in the world. It is the one thing that sorta connects us in a way! Of course some of us see it at totally different hours though, but it is still just something sorta neat to think about!

#1. What's a nickname only your family calls you? Honestly I don't really have one, before my grandaddy passed he had always called me Monkey since I was a wee little one!

#2. What's a weird habit of yours? I think I have a weird OCD(which isn't too strange since my mom and brother have it).... If I do something with one side of my body I have to do it with the other(it use to be really bad but I don't really do it anymore)

#3. Do you have any weird phobias?I am absolutely TERRIFIED of snakes!! I can't even stand seeing pictures of them or seeing them on tv haha!
#4. What's a song you secretly love to blast and belt out when you're alone? HANSON hahahaha! I have seen them on more than one occasion in concert and I still love them!
#5. What's one of your biggest pet peeves? OMG! My husband does this leg thing...he bounces his leg and it drives me insane lol!
#6. What's one of your nervous habits? I either make no sense when I am nervous or I am a little quiet(which definitely isn't me)...plus when I get nervous I start freezing lol!

#8. What was your first stuffed animal and it's name? I don't have one, the only stuffed animal I own is a little doggy that my hubby sent me with flowers when he was deployed.

#10. What's a beauty rule you preach, but never actually practice? Curling the lashes... I always try to but sometimes I just forget...OH, and to be gentle around the eyes, I just don't think about it sometimes!

#12. Do you have any 'weird' body 'skills'? Yeah, I can roll my stomach...and no, NOT because I am fat haha!

Yay! I met J.R. Martinez!!

I am SOOOO excited to share with all of you my lil experience today! I did end up getting to meet J.R. from Dancing With the Stars... he was really cool and super nice! Sadly I didn't realize until it was too late that I didn't charge my camera, so I only got one pic with my camera and the other was taken with my hubby's phone.

We got to sit really close so that was pretty cool! This was when he first came out.

Me and the hubby with J.R., please excuse how horrible I look here....I was standing really weird haha(I look HUGE)!

He shared lots of stories with us and shared his journey as well... he was actually a really down to earth and super nice person! He was joking about how he never thought he would've went from combat boots(being in the Army) to two inch heels(Dancing with the stars) haha! His story really is inspiring though and you can tell how much he genuinely respects the military. Aside from all that he was pretty funny too! So after it is all said and done...not only was it an honor to meet him, but it was pretty cool too hehe!

I get to meet Dancing With the Stars Winner!

Tonight I am SUPER excited! Tomorrow morning I am going to see the winner of Dancing With the Stars, J.R. Martinez... For those of you who may not know who I am talking about, he is a former soldier that was badly burned during a deploymend. He plays a Brot Monroe on the daytime drama "All My Children." His story is so amazing and my husband relates to him in several different ways so that is pretty neat!

My wonderful husband was able to get us on the list for a special thing that he is doing! I don't want to give away any details until afterwards though... hopefully I will have the opportunity to actually meet him and maybe get a picture with him as well. If so that will definitely be something that I will post on here! Well night everyone, I have an early morning and it's a little late here already!

Getting into the Spirit

I was sitting around trying and attempting to decide on what I should blog about today and I decided that since Christmas is getting super, and I am going to be out doing a little bit of my Christmas shopping today...that I would just blog about Christmas haha!

So last year for Christmas I was on vacation with my family... not that it was a bad vacation, but I guess I was a little depressed. My hubby was away at war :( and I was PreeeTyyy pregnant haha! We stayed in a three story chalet on the side of a darn mountain(literally lol)... We definitely had us a "white Christmas" last year ha.

Christmas morning it started snowing...and snowing and snowing and snowing and...well you get the idea! Anyways, it ended up snowing probably like three feet if not more. This is where the vacation got a lil sour. Not only was I pregnant and missing my hubby, but now we were snowed in on top of a mountain and couldn't do any sort of sightseeing or anything!! Atleast we did get to do a little bit of shopping like the day before we got snowed in.

Aside from all of that it was a really pretty and nice Christmas, I wanted to share with all of you some of the pictures.

Don't you just love our "lil" tree lol? We couldn't travel with anything bigger so we brought a little one....obviously all of the gifts wouldn't fit under it haha!
After it is all said and done...I love that we had the experience despite being snowed in and having to stay like an extra 4-5 days!

MAC Christmas Gifts

This year when my hubby asked what I wanted I immediately said, "MAC!" hahaha...so there are a few things that I already know that I want for sure but then there are a few that I haven't decided on. My question for all of you is this....

What are some MAC or even non MAC beauty or cosmetics or beauty things that I should ask for? Perferably MAC though!

Fa La La La La....La La La La!

I am super excited tonight! I can't believe it is almost Christmas already... I know this year is going to be super special. Not only will this be Elizabeth's first Christmas, but this year my hubby will be home to share it with us instead of being away at war again! We just put our tree up earlier and I wrapped some of the presents up too haha! I just couldn't wait.

This was the tree at the beginning of Christmas last year.... now there are LOTS of other fun ornaments on the tree! Did I mention that my husband hates it haha.... he hates that it has fun colors on it! I will post pics at some point so you can see what it looks like now. Atleast my hubby is a good hubby though, and we agreed that he could decorate the outside of the house how he wanted... let's hope it's not too crazy haha... just kidding, I know he will do a great job!!

I just love everything about the holidays... especially the shopping part hehe... I love listening to the Christmas music and looking at all the different decorations wherever we go. I loved it tonight when my hubby said," well if we are gonna do this (talking about putting the tree up), then we gotta do it right!" Then he turned on Christmas music haha! I love how curious the baby was seeing it all for the first time. She was soo cute, climbing up onto all the boxes and peeking her head inside to see what was in them as we were decorating! I can't wait to watch her open her gifts for the first time.

 I hope all your holidays go as you plan and that they are SUPER wonderful as well!

CUPCAKES GALORE!!

For Thanksgiving I made pumpkin spice cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and everyone LOVED them!! The recipe that I used was from Juicystar07's video! It would've been up in time yesterday but I was having lots of internet connection issues so the upload kept stopping... so here it is haha!

Happy Turkey Day!

Hey everyone... I hope you all have had a wonderful Thanksgiving so far! I love this time of year, being with family and loved ones. I am Thankful that my dad was able to visit and spend Thanksgiving with me at my house this year. There were a lot more people at the house then I actually thought would be, and we had lots of food and sugary goodies haha! I made pumpkin spice cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, and I made pumpkin pie! Below is the tutorial I did for the pie. The cupcake recipe tutorial will be up later.. it would've been up sooner but for some reason my internet kept disconnecting all day long!

Secondly I just wanted to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Thank you to all of my subscribers on youtube, I am not sure if you read this blog of not but I am so thankful for all of your subscriptions! My goal was to get my first 50 by today and I did! I am proud of myself. I absolutely love making videos for everyone, so it means a lot that even 50 people want to watch them! I can't wait to finally get more subscribers and really be able to show my appreciation and send you guys fun free stuff haha!

CrAzY sUnDaYs!!!

Today is going to be a crazy day and it's not even noon yet! We all woke up pretty early and had to take Rob to work... he got stuck doing 24 hour duty so he won't be off until in the morning! Then he wanted Subway for breakfast haha, so after we dropped him off we went to get him breakfast from there. Right now we have just my car, we recently sold his and we both need new ones lol, mainly because I drive a VW Jetta and there is just not enough room for our growing family haha!
 Now I am doing baby laundry, which I do separately from everyone else's because I use a different detergent for her than for everyone else...
I had to hurry and chop up lots of veggies to go into the slow cooker because I am making beef stew for dinner and it has to cook for like 8 hours!
The kids and myself are going to have to load up in the car soon and run to the grocery store, we have random items to get for Thanksgiving and some milk and other fun things lol!
Afterwards I may start doing some of the baking for Thanksgiving, we are hosting it at our house this year so I am really excited! Plus I want to try to watch the live streaming on elleandblair.com for the AMA's hahaha! Well, I am off to finish off my super busy day today, maybe I can get some cleaning in today too lol!

Quack Quack!

Today I got the funniest phonecall from my sister! She always manages to make me laugh, and today she especially made my day! We were in mid conversation and she said, "Oh I have to tell you what Tristan (her hubby) did....I just seen a bird on tv and it reminded me of it!" So I immediately am thinking, "Oh no, what did he do and how does it relate to a bird?"

She contines to tell her story and it went a lil something like this...
"Well, I got a knock at the door today and the UPS man hands me this package and it was chirping... Tristan ordered ducks online!" I couldn't stop laughing because it just got better and better. "I asked him what am I suppose to do with these things and he was like 'good luck' and walked off!" She told me that they came with a manual haha.. Then she said, "on the invoice that came with them it says he ordered four ducks and I opened them up, and there were 5!" LOL! "What am I going to do with 5 freaking ducks? I don't know how to take care of ducks, I'm afraid I am going to accidentally kill them!" Apparently Tristan told her that he wanted to order geese originally lol, he said that he wanted to take a bath with real ones instead of the rubber ones haha! Obviously he was joking...atleast we hope lol! The best part is that they now live in an apartment, so she has nowhere to keep these ducks other than maybe her bathtub lol! I just couldn't help but to laugh at her... I didn't know you could order ducks online and that they would ship them to your front door lol! That was just a random funny story I wanted to share with all of you!

Sick Days

Sorry everyone, I know I haven't uploaded a video or blogged in a few days. Yesterday was a super busy day and I had my cousin's baby shower to go to like two hours away! Then today I have been sick with a really bad cold, so I really hope that by Tuesday I will feel more up to doing a new video! Any ideas?

Usually I have it all planned out and know what I want to do but I literally have no clue haha! I think I wanna do a new video using drugstore products only... That's probably what I will do haha. I have a really busy day tomorrow since my hubby won't be home this week, I have lots to do before he leaves! So I probably won't film anything until Tuesday! Well off to get Michael to bed since he has school in the morning, then I am getting ready for bed myself! Night Everyone!

The day ahead

Apparently the time change was last night and not tonight, because when I woke up this morning the time was set back an hour on mine and my husband's phones! At first I thought I was crazy until I started looking at all the clocks in the house and they all were an hour ahead of mine lol... So aside from all that today is going to be a little busy. I have to get ready, and drive a little over an hour and go get the kiddies from my mom's house, then once we leave there we have to drive back and go grocery shopping and all that fun stuff that us moms and wives do haha!

So I imagine that today will be pretty busy for us all here at my house.... Don't forget though to keep checking my beauty channel http://youtube.com/user/TheMrsFoxxy for lots of new videos! I try to upload atleast a couple a week and to not go to long without uploading anything. My next video will be a hair tutorial that is really fast!

How to: Goulish Goodies part 2!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween!! I told you all that I would do a video making all the lil goodies for the Halloween party, but unfortunately I didn't get the chance to... I ended up running around like crazy trying to hurry and things were getting done at the last minute! However, I did film a little bit... so here it is!

Happy Halloween everyone! I hope you all had a great halloween, and a safe one too! If you have been reading my posts here recently then you know that I blogged about taking the kids to a Halloween party tonight... we went to that and went trick or treating and they had soooo much fun!! I didn't get to film a video of all the goodies that I made for the party because my day was waaaay busier than what I thought it would be, but I did film a lil video afterwards so maybe I will load it tomorrow! Here are some pics from our night!

Some of the goodies and decorations.... the homemade confetti cupcakes that were delicious (my friend Stephanie made them)....plus the witch hats that I made! Don't you just love my Hello Kitty camera case on the table? haha

The kiddos.... Michael was Batman but you can't see his costume here.... and Elizabeth was a ballerina (this worked out because it was really chilly out), I was bummed that her big cute headband was nowhere to be found though! Her lil ballet slippers tied and were tutu cute haha!

Baby's first Halloween!!! Daddy carried her the whole time we were trick or treating and she was sooo sleepy that one minute she was wide awake and the next she passed out on his shoulder snuggled up to him under her ballet blanket.... oh how she always melts my heart! Well it was a busy busy day and I have been up since before 5 a.m. and had only 2 and a 1/2 hrs of sleep so I am off to bed!

Goulish Goodies!!

Happy early Halloween everyone! This year we are taking the kids to a Halloween party and then trick or treating and I have been SUPER excited for the fun recipes I found online!! I plan on filming making them but since that won't be until Halloween and I wanted to share them with everyone before then so I am doing it this way first haha! These are all really easy recipes...I haven't decided yet which two I am going to do but I know I AM doing this first recipe!!

First up are these super cute and yummy looking Frankenstein Brownies!! What you'll need:
-One box of Betty Crocker or your favorite brand of brownie mix(you can even do it from scratch)
-Neon green and purple food coloring, or you can mix colors to get them (blue and red make purple)
-M&M's or another small candy for the eyes
-Black tube of decorative icing
-Candy corn
-Water, vegetable oil, and egg called for on box
-one cup vanilla frosting(has to be vanilla so you can dye it)
Bake them according to whatever recipe you are following, and then decorate just like the pics above! I will go into more detail in the video, if I do that here it would be WAAAAY too long haha!

Next up we have little WITCH HATS!

Aren't these super cute? They are easy to make too! What you need:
-Hershey's Kisses (unwrapped)
-One pack fudge striped shortbread cookies
-One tube of Red or Orange decorative icing
With the bottom side up place the kisses in the center (attach using the icing and use the icing to make your rim for the hats!

Now we have WIZARD HATS!!

You need:
-One box refrigerated pie crusts softened
-3 tablespoons semi-sweet chocolate chips
-1 tablespoon of sugar
-1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Roll out your crust and cut into wedges, at the thicker end of the wedge place your chocolate chips and then roll the wedge upward to the point, leaving 4 inches unrolled. Mix your sugar and cinnamon together and then sprinkle over your wizard hats and bake them 11-14 minutes at 375 degrees.

Lastly we have delicious Jack 'O Lantern Quesadillas...

Ingredients:
16 (8-inch) flour tortillas, preferably red or orange

8 teaspoons vegetable oil

4 cups grated pepper Jack cheese (12 oz.) or just cheddar(whichever kind you like)

Preheat broiler to high and place an oven rack about 5 inches from heat source. Spray your baking sheet so they don't stick. Place tortillas on a cutting board and use a sharp paring knife to trim away some of top, leaving a 1-inch "stem" so tortillas are shaped like pumpkins. Use a knife to cut two triangles for eyes and a crescent for a mouth into 8 tortillas.

Warm 1 teaspoon oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add a tortilla without eyes and mouth, sprinkle with a scant 1/2 cup cheese. Cover with cutout tortilla. Cook until underside is golden, 1 to 2 minutes, slide onto baking sheet, and repeat to make three more quesadillas.

Place baking sheet under broiler and broil until tops are golden. Slide onto a serving platter and loosely tent with foil to keep warm. Repeat with remaining tortillas and cheese. Serve immediately.

FOR A QUICKER WAY YOU CAN DO THESE IN THE OVEN INSTEAD!!

Changing Name of This Blog?

I NEED ALL OF YOUR HELP!!!
So I have been thinking for a while about changing the name of my blog...I would love to change the name of my youtube channel too but I don't think I can! However, I know that I can change the name on here haha! So since I rarely do any posts for fashion and it's mostly all beauty I thought about changing it to "Foxxy Beauty" or "Foxxy Fashion"... what do you guys think? Like I said I feel like "Foxxy Beauty" would be more suited! Since my last name is Fox I really want to incorporate it in there somehow so if you guys have any other suggestions PLEASE let me know!

Favorite New Accessory

So as a mommy, with a baby small enough to still need a diaper bag... I introduce you to my new favorite accessory!!

I LOVE this diaper bag!! I also really like that it doesn't really look like a diaper bag, so I can use it for whatever really! All of the baby stuff is concealed inside, so you don't have bottles and everything showing in the outside pockets like normal diaper bags! It even has little compartments for all your baby needs and fits soooo much more than a regualar diaper bag does. There is even a compartment labeled "Mommy's Things" haha too cute!!
What I am really loving though is the houndstooth design and it doesn't feel like that cheap material of most diaper bags... plus I feel like houndstooth is definitely in for this season, so it fits right in!

Costume Party!!

This past weekend was super super busy... atleast I managed to get a tutorial up before the weekend! We had a housewarming party to go to during the day Saturday and then a Halloween Costume/Bonfire Party that night. Then on Sunday we had to go pick up Elizabeth from spending the night with my mom, then drive an hour and a half home to get ready to go grocery shopping and then go pick up Michael!! Sadly nothing went as planned Sunday so now we have to do our grocery shopping today hopefully haha... This morning has went really well so far, the kids let me get some sleep and didn't wake up super early like usual haha. They just finished their breakfast and now I am typing this in the living room floor with the kids to one side of me and my phone going off on the other!! Can me say multi-tasking? lol. I got pics from this weekend and wanted to share them with all of you! I really enjoyed getting to dress up with my hubby since the first Halloween we were together we didn't get to dress up since he was scheduled to work and they let him off at the last minute, and then last year he was thousands of miles away from me overseas....so it was special to be able to dress up with him and his costume was just too funny :)!! P.S. We got our costumes at Halloween Express, you can visit them online at http://halloweenexpress.com if you don't have one near you, they have tons of different costumes!!

So everything that I wanted to be they didn't have so I chose this...mainly because I LOVE the leg warmers haha..and the lil antennas!

I just had to add the mustache to my bumble bee outfit haha! He said it started getting itchy...

At the end of the night it ended up making a home on my cup, then my friend Delana added a face for it haha...I think it was suppose to be me lol!

I missed these two oh so much!! If you have ever seen any of my wedding pics you might recognize them from my bridal party!!

It was a fun night and thanks to the huge bonfire we weren't even cold outside at all!! Hope you all get to do something fun with friends this Halloween and are safe doing so!

Sad Days

It is almost two in the morning here and here I am typing this... today was definitely a sad day and tons of emotions ran over me as well as my family. If you follow me on twitter or read my blog then you know that my aunt passed away the other day. My heart goes out so very much to her husband(my uncle) and her immediate family. It was just over a year ago this past August that their son passed, then just a few months later just before Christmas my aunt lost her daddy(my grandaddy)... as a mother I just can't imagine what that must feel like, and it saddens me just the thought of it! So please keep them all in your prayers.
Also, on the way to the funeral we passed a wreck and it was so terrible, the driver of the vehicle that was hit was killed, we only know this because as we were passing by the EMT was putting the white sheet over the driver... what a definitely sad day!! If you or someone you know has recently lost a loved one please keep them in your thoughts and prayers and just help them through the hard time in their life!!

Halloween is Coming...

Halloween is quickly approaching so I wanted to do a couple tutorials. I finally finished my first one last night and I am hoping to have it up either late tomorrow or early Friday... if you follow my tweets then you know that my aunt passed away yesterday so I have a fineral to go to before I can upload... hopefully the lighting is good on the video since I made the mistake of filming at night... be sure to keep checking back for it!

Today Rob started his new weird crazy schedule but he got home early today whoch is definitely something we are not use to haha! Tonight I couldn't decide between pizzas or calzones.. Michael wanted pizza and Rob didn't decide and I wanted a calzon so we did both. Michael helped make his pizza which he wanted mushrooms, cheese, onions, and peppers... my lil healthy helper. Our calzones were the same but mine had black olives...ph how I LOVE olives HEHE!!

I also wanna take this post to let you all know I will not be posting any new videos until the 15th because I am trying to change the internet plan I have so that the date it is due will change.

Good Days..

Today turned out to be a really great day..  
Sorry that I have kinda strayed away from doing lots of beauty posts but I will be doing lots more soon.

 Tomorrow will be another super busy day. I am going with the hubby to a banana pudding cook off haha. Personally I don't like it but he loves it! My step-dad is going with us too. I am excited about it though because I get to see one of my closest friends that lives a couple hours from me! She gets to see the baby for the first time too!! Plus she hasn't even met my hubby. We hardly ever see each other but have always kept in touch and remained super close...

My day at home today was really relaxing so it made me a lil lazy and I didn't film even though I should have because I won't have a whole lot of opportunities. I have a couple of holiday looks that I wanna do for you guys though so I am excited haha. Tonight me, my hubby (Rob), and Michael ate taco salad and then we had to leave to take him somewhere for the weekend.. Then we went with the baby to Wal-Mart and had a few little things to get like baby water and I am excited because she is old enough for the baby juices now too! So she got her FIRST sippy cup today too lol.. exciting! We decided to get back to eating healthy foods again so bought some frozen yogurt, regular yogurt, and lots of fruit for smoothies yay! I will try tomorrow to take lots of pics, I won't be able to post tomorrow unless it's super late, because after we leave the cook off we are headed to my step-dad's moms for her birthday, and then back to where we live to go to a friend's to watch the ALABAMA FLORIDA game!! That will be interesting since I am a Florida fan and Rob likes Alabama haha!

Birthday Weekend

This past weekend was full of birthdays!! Up first was Michael's 7th Birthday... I can't believe he is seven now!!

The exciting inflatable that was in our backyard!! My mom kept him the night before so that when he got there it would be a surprise!! (ignore the two grown ups laying on part of it haha)....the lil baby in pink is my niece Zoie!

His pirate ship cake...it was sooo awesome but then gravity started to pull it apart, that's why it is a lil crooked! Sorry for the coke bottle in the way haha! Notice the Jack Sparrow as part of the decor...there are even lil pirates on the island!

Opening the gift from my mom...they had to leave early since my step-dad wasn't feeling well! I love how you can see the inflatable out the window of my kitchen..

He got lots of great goodies and even a golf set... all the guys, and then myself also, ending up hitting golf balls out towards the open field in our backyard!

Next up we have my lil buttercup aka my niece Zoie's 1st birthday! Sadly it was the last time I will see my sister for a long time...they are leaving tomorrow morning for Washington State....so so so far away!!

Before we sang happy birthday! I am gonna miss these two so so much! Zoie was waving!!

1 year old today!!

I know that I have already posted once today but this one is a super special post!! Today is my lil buttercup's (aka my niece Zoie) FIRST BIRTHDAY!! I can't believe that a year ago today I was at the hospital with my sissy and this adorable lil baby girl was born!!

I was soooo excited to call and wish her a happy birthday, my sister told me she was waving at the phone haha....she is so cute! I just love her to death and I am so sad that they will be moving so so far away within like the next week!

Busy Bees

So yesterday was really busy! I have been cleaning and getting my house ready for Michael's birthday party this weekend! DON'T FORGET TO CHECK BACK FOR THE POST FROM THE PARTY TO SEE THE BIG SURPRISE THAT WILL BE AT OUR HOUSE FOR THE LITTLE MUNCHKIN!!

Yesterday was busy with doing laundry and other fun household chores haha... Then something insane happened!! Michael had went to the bathroom and (no toilet paper was put into the toilet) he came out and told me the toilet almost overflowed... So when I went in there it had went back down so I decided to see if it would flush and it decided to come all the way over and started pouring into the floor so I had to hurry before I could run across the house to my bathroom and get the plunger, I had to create a barrier to stop the water long enough for the to go get it! I ended up using all the clean towels that were in that bathroom!!! It was crazy...the water didn't stop filling up! Finally I was able to go get the plunger and stop it thank goodness!! I couldn't believe that it just didn't stop filling up... Then after I got the water back down I had to clean up all the towels and wash them!! It was A LOT of towels too haha! By coincidence yesterday the maintenace man from where we rent our house at (no we don't own, with my husband's job it would be redicuouls to buy since we never know when they might move us) stopped by yesterday to check smoke detectors and all that fun stuff and he fixed the toilet YAY!! Well that was my crazy adventure yesterday haha! Hope your day was a whole lot smoother than mine!

Birthdays and Blushes!!

Sorry that it has been a few days.... here is what I have been up to!!

Seven years ago this past Sunday this lil guy was born!! We have been really busy planning his birthday party for this coming Saturday...he wanted a "Pirates of the Carribbean" theme!!

So I will be posting pics from the party sometime in the near future!!


Aside from that let's talk BLUSH... I wanted to do a post about choosing the right shades of blush for your skin tone! Personally I really like some colors for myself that aren't really ideal for my skin tone, but I feel like if you aren't using too much of the colors that aren't really ideal then it's not so bad. So if you can pull it off then go for it! Here it is...

Always remember that the purpose of blush is to give you the natural flushed looked.... just like if you were to run around, the color you flush to is what you are going for when applying your blush.

Typically with skin tones you have to categories, you have your ivory/beige & then you have your bronze/ebony skin tones!
1. A deep, rich, warmer shade on ivory skin doesn't work.
2. Same goes for if you were to try and wear a pale shade on on ebony skin it will look really ashy.
3. If you wear a blush with shimmer try going for a shade that has gold to it, instead of silver. Silver is
    more reflective and ashy and will definitely not work on darker skin tones.
4. However, shades with some sheen or shimmer do look great on darker skin tones because they give
    it a bit of a glow!
5. Bright pops of color do look really great on darker skin tones!
6. Don't fear though, there are some colors that are universal, so don't think that you are tied down to
    just certain shades for your skin tones!
7. Apricot colors will look great on all shades!!
8. The MOST important thing though is to NOT try to pull off something that is too dark for your skin
    tone! If you are more pale then you are definitely better going for something with a lil more color
    opposed to something darker...

can do a brighter/lighter color as long as it's sheer with a bit of shimmer

You Won't Guess What I Did!!

Today definitely did not turn out the way I expected.... it started off horrible but is turning into a pretty ok night! This morning I woke up late and had to rush and get ready to leave to go pick up my hubby who had been at work for the last 28 hrs... Last night my sis and her hubby and baby stayed over since they were in town and will be moving really soon all the way across the states!! Well I got into such a hurry that as I was pulling out of my driveway, (I am not use to anyone being parked behind me), I was looking into my side mirror and as usual didn't see anything. I back right into my sisters car... OMG! I couldn't believe it. I freaked out a little because I have never done anything like that or even had that happen to me. No she wasn't in her car she was in my house... So I guess I can no longer say that I have a perfect driving record haha. Thank goodness I have full coverage so it didn't cost me anything to repair her car. Also, I am soooo happy that all it made was a teeny tiny scratch on my back bumper (nothing worth even getting it fixed) and her car is drivable...it just left like a 1 inch crack in her bumber... I guess our cars are pretty tough haha!! Thank you USAA for being awesome haha!
Then after all that mess I had to rush to get my husband which I was already an hour and a half late for picking up! We had to go take Elizabeth to the Dr. (she has had a these little bumps that keep going away and coming back that started off around her right eye and have no spread to the other. Not an emergency though because she doesn't even act like anything is bothering her. Turns out is is baby eczema, but they didn't have anything for something her age so they just said if it gets worse or doesn't go away over time then to take her to a dermotologist! She is fine though and it's nothing major... apparently it goes away! Maybe that's what "baby acne" actually is.
Well tonight was better, me, the hubby, and baby all went to Buffalo Wing and Rings (just like a buffalo wild wings) and it was SUPER cheap and really good!
Hope your day went waaay better than mine did...atleast mine is ending well! I think we are gonna watch the new show "Secret Circle" that just premiered last night that I taped but haven't watched yet!!

Remembering Those 10 years ago...

It was 10 years ago today that the terrible attacks hit our country! I want to take this time and remember those that lost their lives and thank those that were there to help! I also want to take today to say how thankful I am to have my hubby who just recently returned from his 5th deployment!! If it wasn't for him and all the other soldiers I dunno where we would be today!! I am truly thankful and blessed to have him here safely with me and I thank my lucky stars every single precious moment that I have....he sacrificed so much for all of us, including missing our baby girl being born! I love you honey and thank you so much!! Thank all of our troops for all that they do!!!!

PC Promlems

Hey guys! Videos

So I am not uploading a video today! If you read my blog yesterday then you know that I was really sick almost the entire day yesterday so I haven't had the chance to edit or upload anything! I literally slept almost all day long yesterday. Then I spent most of the morning trying to clean and disinfect my house before the kids came home from being with my mom. I just finished editing a video and I realized while doing so that I really am a lil disappointed in myself because I never realize until afterwards that it always seems to look like I have hardly no makeup on my eyes when I actually do! I just hate how washed out the camera makes things look so I am really going to try and start fixing that as soon as I can! I was looking at a couple of my older videos today and I didn't have that problem in them. I dunno what I was doing differently then than I am now, but I am going to try and fix it! Check back soon for a couple new videos!!

Sorry Everyone!!

Hey guys...I am so sorry that I did not upload any videos today! Me and the hubby have been super sick all day long so my mom took the lil ones for the night! We may have gotten food poisoning :( grr! Hopefully tomorrow will be back to normal and I will be able to upload again.
It made me feel horrible because the baby wanted me to hold her so so badly this morning but I had to try my best to stay away from her until my mom got here to get her! I can't wait to see her tomorrow!!

Why?

One simple question I am asking... why is it that people will say that they subscribed to your channel when they didn't...or they say that they followed your blog when they didn't? Then they turn around and ask you to follow or subscribe back. Someone please tell me why people do that. I can honestly say that I have NEVER done that! It's not like you can't clearly see that they didn't haha! Well just my thought on that for today lol!

First Tag Video EVER!

I just upload my first tag video and I am really excited... I hope you all check it out and go subscribe to my channel! It's called "the accent tag", basically what it is is a video of me saying different words and answering some questions...the purpose of it is to see all the different ways people pronounce things depending on where you are from! I am obviously from the south if you haven't yet figured that one out haha!

Funny thing!

This is just a quick thing that happened earlier that I wanted to share with all of you! I don't usually post more than one blog a day but I just had to share this...

You know you're in the country when...

This was my adventurous trip with my husband to Wal-Mart yesterday! Here's what happened to was so crazy and rediculous.....
So we pulled into the parking lot, and you know how some people will turn down a row and stop because they are waiting for the people pulling out so they can get that spot? Well there were 2 cars, one pulled down the row and stopped almost right afterwards(which was fine they weren't in the way), well the car in front of us just decided to literally stop with noone in front of them or blocking their way or anything(I don't know what they were doing, but they decided not to let anyone pass them even though noone was cutting them off. The little truck that was trying to leave the row had enough room to go around them so they did and the people layed on the horn for no reason. So since we had been just sitting there my husband decides to go around and pull through also and she once again layed on her horn honking and starts yelling... Well my husband decides to get out of the car and yells, "well then get the F out of the way!" I put it into nicer terms lol! She really was making me mad and acting so incredibly rude to everyone and for no reason. I could have understood her getting angry if we were cutting her off or taking her parking space but noone was in her way at all!! Let me add that we were also right in the front so we couldnt back up or turn around because she was blocking all traffic. It just really made no sense whatever she was doing. What made her look even more crazy is that she started yelling and throwing her hands everywhere like she was trying to act(to put it bluntly and I mean it in a totally non-racial way) like she was in the middle of the hood.... I mean seriously lady? We are in the freaking country for crying out loud haha!! I understand acting like that with those hand gestures if you have a reason too but all because someone passes you and is actually totally out of your way is a bit insane! It was sorta funny though that as we were getting out of the car the woman who passed in the truck before us thanked us for saying something to get because she was about to beat her A haha!! What an ending to a dumb adventure lol!
Afterwards on the way home my hubby and I joked about how the only time I have crazy adventures is with him but they all seem to end up negatively haha....but in a funny way!
