Tornado and Devastation

You can still see the glass jars and toaster that once was the cozy kitchen to a family....
So many heart breaking disasters have been going on around the world...
and now in the southern states of the US...
a massive Tornado has killed over 200 people and made parts of Alabama look like a bomb hit it...

Alabama reported 180 people killed
Mississippi 32
Tennessee 33 (which is where I am from)
Georgia at least 10
and Virginia has lost eight...there are even more states with more being reported missing and killed.
People's entire homes are missing, hospitals are filled to capacity, power has been out for days in some areas and the death tolls keep rising...
It doesn't matter what country we're from or what nationality we are...we all have a heart that beats and a desire to be loved and have a safe place to call home.
Please pray for the people who are now dealing with this in their day...

The poor Red Cross is trying to help out with all the disasters all over the world...and though we can't be there with our hands, we can help donate money to give the hands that can, some help

You can go to the American Red Cross website here: www.redcross.org

My birthday!!

So today is my birthday and it's almost over! I must admit although I truly do appreciate all of the wonderful birthday wishes and happy birthdays, I was a little sad at first this morning, I truly miss my husband and wish he was home already! Then I got a great surprise and he sent me flowers...

I think they are beautiful...he sends me flowers all the time from this great website called www.FTD.com but this time they were a little different...a dozen red roses and lilies!! Thank you baby! I love you!! You made my day even though you couldn't be here! I had already gotten my birthday present from him (a gift card to MAC cosmetics) so that was sooo great :)! I got lots of great goodies thanks to my husband haha!

I didn't do anything today for my birthday today, but last night I went out to eat with my sister and her husband who has just returned from Afghanistan (welcome home Tristan)! I didn't get to take any pics from that but I do have pics from his homecoming so maybe I will do a blog about the ceremony and post the pics later!

Well it has been storming here lots and lots the last few days with tornado and flood warnings! So I am off to feed the baby and get us in the bed, hopefully the lights won't go out ahh!

Contractions...woo hoo!!

So I know that I posted again last night that the how-to blog would be up tonight! Again I am so incredibly sorry. I had an appointment with my midwife today(no I am not having a home birth), well it's definitely getting closer to time for my lil cupcake to be here! So please forgive me if it takes me a lil while longer to get the blog up. I have been having lots and lots of contractions and there is no telling now when she will come!
