Mini Vacation

So we are leaving in the morning and heading to my husband's mom's house... we are going to have a sorta late Christmas with his family. I have been up really late tonight getting things ready and packing up as much as I can tonight! I finally got my makeup packed haha! I always hate packing makeup for a trip because I want to bring it all, but that would be a little extreme lol.. I am always afraid that if I don't bring a ton then I will end up not bringing something, and wanting to use it later!

I already have packed most of Michael's bag, except for his jeans and his toothbrush and toothpaste and all of those types of things... Elizabeth is not packed at all haha! Well I did get all of her baby food together already.. Clothes had to be washed and all sorts of things before I could even think about packing! Thankfully it has all been washed and here I am blogging at almost 1 in the morning when I should be sleeping (or packing)... of course ha ha.

Sadly though I may not end up blogging during this trip.. on the bright side though once we are home and everything gets back to normal I do have a few videos that I want to film and share with all of you!

One thing I really like about going to visit his family is that it can be really relaxing, plus there is soooo much more to do there than there is here where we live! And.... they have lots of fun places to shop at hehe, like MAC, Forever 21, and so many more! It's not fair that I don't have those places here where we live right now. I always have to order from them online, or drive over an hour to go there! So if I do any sort of shopping I will share it with you guys, but I have no idea if I will yet or not.

First Christmas

This was baby's first Christmas! At first I think she was a little confused about the whole unwrapping presents thing, but after three days of getting gifts, I think she is finally starting to get the hang of it haha! This was also our first Christmas in our house, last year Michael and I spent it with my mom in the mountains while Rob was across the world!!

Elizabeth loves to sit on her new giraffe and be pulled...this was right after she first seen it and Michael was pulling her around on it! Too Cute!!

She actually kept the little pink bow in her hair until I decided to take it out...what a Surprise!!

This Christmas has been so wonderful and a true blessing! I had both of my little ones with me as well as my husband home safely this year... I have truly felt blessed! This time last year not only was I worried about my hubby as well as almost 7 months pregnant... but I was Snowed In on top of a darn mountain!!! Literally, and it was not fun haha!

Pictures With Santa

So it's just a little after midnight here and I have finally finished all of my baking!! I made really cute sugar cookies and decorated them with lots of sprinkles, sugars, and holiday m&m's..

Then I made some pumpkin spice cupcakes with cream cheese frosting...AGAIN haha!

Earlier today we made a trip to the mall and the kids got pics with Santa...inserted below!!

After a few pics we finally got a little smerck out of Elizabeth...by this time I think Michael was tired of smiling haha!

Here are the cookies I made... they are lots of different Christmas shapes.. like stockings, trees, stars, candy canes, and a few more!! I was originally going to do them all different colors, but when I went to color the icing I totally forgot to separate it out into different bowls. So we just had all green icing. Michael stayed up the entire time helping me out in the kitchen... he really loved it! I finally had to get him to go get ready for bed since it was almost midnight... So Merry Christmas Eve to everyone and I hope you all have a wonderful holiday!!

Santa and Sugar Cookies

Tomorrow will be a really busy day... probably for all of us though. I made dough tonight for sugar cookies... me and Michael are going to cut them out into different Christmas shapes, I am going to bake them, and then we are going to decorate them with lots of fun sprinkles, colored sugars, and some M&M's! Aside from that I am also going to be making some pumpkin spice cupcakes with cream cheese frosting...again haha! I am going to take those to my grandpa's house on Christmas Eve along with a couple other things that I have to cook too..

During the day tomorrow will be filled with some fun festivities too, like going to see Santa Claus and getting Elizabeth's first Christmas ornament!

When I was little (back when I still believed in Santa) one year at my Grandma and Grandpa's house Santa and Mrs. Claus came to visit... Ok it wasn't really them but I didn't know any better haha! Friend's of my grandparents came all dressed up and I do mean dressed up.... and we even got to visit with them... they played the parts so so well! It was so much fun and I still have never forgotten that, even though I know now that it wasn't really Santa it still is one of my favorite memories. I can only hope that I can bring those special and unforgettable memories to my little ones as well!

 I will try my best to blog tomorrow since I know that I won't be able to Christmas Eve... I did have a cute hair tutorial to get up but I am not going to be able to get it up for a while(the hubby has been home and really sick)!! I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

The older you GET....the more you forGET

I had to run to the store to get some eggs so I took Michael(my seven year old) with me! Right down the road from my house there is a Food Lion and a Dollar General....they are literally like a five minute drive from my house. So I get to Food Lion and I literally thought I had passed the Dollar General already, my seven year old is like, "No....the Dollar Store is way after!" It's really sad when you have to get directions from your little ones because you can't remember if you passed it or not haha! Of course he was right too... Why do we start to forget everything the older we get?
Time goes by soooo fast once you get a little bit older and are out on your own...then once you have kids it literally FLIES by! I can't believe that Elizabeth will be a year old in less than 4 months...and then right after that I will be 25! Doesn't feel like I should be though haha... some of you may be a lot older and reading this thinking "Oh that's not old!",  but when you go through raising a 7year old on your own because your husband has to go away to war and then having a baby all at the same time by yourself...yeah you feel like you have been through everything!
So aside from kids making time fly by, being pregnant made forget EVERYTHING haha! I like to call that PB aka pregnancy brain...and I think that it stayed with me and never left!

I fixed my internet!

So if you guys read my beauty blog post last night then you seen that my internet crashed! I honestly have no idea what happened... one minute it was fine and then the next it acted insane. For my internet I have one of the broadband things that plugs into a USB port on my laptop. My daughter has smacked it a couple of times so it is a little bent, but it has been that way for months so I am not totally sure if that was the cause. It was crazy though, at first I thought that my computer crashed, because everytime I inserted the broadband into my computer the screen went black the first time and then everytime after that it went all static, sorta like when the tv can't pick up a channel and it gets all that snowy stuff on the screen! Yep, that was my laptop last night. So I just uninstalled it from my computer and waited all night long, who knows maybe it just got too hot, but I reinstalled it earlier and am using a different USB port on my laptop and it is working just fine! Thank goodness!

Aside from that on a funnier note... this morning the baby woke up super early again, so I went and made her a bottle and brought her into my room and laid down with her... after she finished her bottle she was really sleepy so I put her back into her crib. After my husband got done working out this morning he went and got her and when I got back up he asked me, "Did you take her pants off this morning?" I just kinda looked at him really funny and said no... He then informed me that she woke up this morning with her pants off and laying there in her crib haha! I have no idea how she managed that one, but the poor thing woke up pantsless! She has been in speedy mode all day long and right now she is SUPER sleepy and laying in her Daddy's lap playing with a toy...

Well I am just happy that my internet is working since I just paid the bill for it a couple of days ago, I wouldn't have been very happy if I paid for it and then wouldn't be able to use it till who knows when! I don't think there is a warranty on what I have, which isn't very good!

So that has been my crazy day so far!

Winter Break

I have decided that I will most likely be taking a "Winter Break" from my blogs...probably the day before Christmas Eve...only because I will just be too busy and traveling to maybe have time to blog! But when I come back I will have lots of fun things to video and to blog about, like a Christmas cosmetics haul and all that fun stuff haha!

Today's post isn't very long because nothing all that important happened today lol... I do wanna show you guys my favorite ornament on my tree right now though....

Isn't the little snowman super cute? I found him(Yes, I call it a him even though it's pink and glittery haha) last year right before Christmas at the Dollar General when all the Christmas decorations had went on sale, so I think I got him for just a couple bucks... I just think he is really cute. His arms and feet are connected by little springs lol, so they sorta bounce!

Well as I was in the middle of this blog, I took a quick break while the picture was loading, and I went to get my kids something to eat.... As I was in the kitchen I decided to refill my flour canister since the flour was low and I hadn't yet put the new bag in... While I was opening it I accidentally ripped the bag a little bit(grr), so when I was pouring it I was being careful not to let it spill out where the bag tore... Then I realized there was a little hole in the bottom of the bag too! Oh my gosh I seriously just got a HUGE pile of flour all over the floor and counter... it was rediculous, but now it's all cleaned up haha!
