First Tag Video EVER!

I just upload my first tag video and I am really excited... I hope you all check it out and go subscribe to my channel! It's called "the accent tag", basically what it is is a video of me saying different words and answering some questions...the purpose of it is to see all the different ways people pronounce things depending on where you are from! I am obviously from the south if you haven't yet figured that one out haha!

If you guys say things differently than I do please do a video response! I love hearing everyone's different accents!

Funny thing!

This is just a quick thing that happened earlier that I wanted to share with all of you! I don't usually post more than one blog a day but I just had to share this...

Bless her little heart! She was playing and got fussy and as soon as I looked over she was passed out lol!!

You know you're in the country when...

This was my adventurous trip with my husband to Wal-Mart yesterday! Here's what happened to was so crazy and rediculous.....
So we pulled into the parking lot, and you know how some people will turn down a row and stop because they are waiting for the people pulling out so they can get that spot? Well there were 2 cars, one pulled down the row and stopped almost right afterwards(which was fine they weren't in the way), well the car in front of us just decided to literally stop with noone in front of them or blocking their way or anything(I don't know what they were doing, but they decided not to let anyone pass them even though noone was cutting them off. The little truck that was trying to leave the row had enough room to go around them so they did and the people layed on the horn for no reason. So since we had been just sitting there my husband decides to go around and pull through also and she once again layed on her horn honking and starts yelling... Well my husband decides to get out of the car and yells, "well then get the F out of the way!" I put it into nicer terms lol! She really was making me mad and acting so incredibly rude to everyone and for no reason. I could have understood her getting angry if we were cutting her off or taking her parking space but noone was in her way at all!! Let me add that we were also right in the front so we couldnt back up or turn around because she was blocking all traffic. It just really made no sense whatever she was doing. What made her look even more crazy is that she started yelling and throwing her hands everywhere like she was trying to act(to put it bluntly and I mean it in a totally non-racial way) like she was in the middle of the hood.... I mean seriously lady? We are in the freaking country for crying out loud haha!! I understand acting like that with those hand gestures if you have a reason too but all because someone passes you and is actually totally out of your way is a bit insane! It was sorta funny though that as we were getting out of the car the woman who passed in the truck before us thanked us for saying something to get because she was about to beat her A haha!! What an ending to a dumb adventure lol!
Afterwards on the way home my hubby and I joked about how the only time I have crazy adventures is with him but they all seem to end up negatively haha....but in a funny way!

Not very happy!

Last night was Michael's open house at his school and you won't believe what happened... no pictures were taken and I am about to tell you why.

Everything started off great...we got there and found out his teacher and we were all soooo happy because she is sooo nice. He actually had her for his reading teacher in kindergarten and they moved her to first grade. After we went to see his classroom we had to go to the gym and meet the bus drivers to see which bus he would be riding. This is where things went wrong...

As we were talking to the bus drivers and none of them could figure out who was the driver that came where we live, one finally asked us to come with her because our house isn't in their school district anymore. We met up with the principal and then found out that he wasn't even suppose to be in that school last year either (but yet they let us enroll him)!!! So we ended up leaving and going to try and find his new school (we were not happy at all)!!! We did find the other school and luckily they were having their open house also so we were able to enroll him thank goodness... Today I got a phonecall from his new teacher and she seems super nice thankfully. She had already left by the time we got to the new school last night. Being able to get to talk to her as long as I did really made me feel sooo much better about the fact that he has to go to a new school.

Hopefully your open houses went smoother than ours did. Atleast the ending result seems to be looking up though!

Busy day and Dr. Appointments

So yesterday was a super busy day! My lil angel had her four month checkup yesterday so my sister offered to watch Michael. This is why my day turned out to be soooo busy....my husband brought me my car so we loaded up and had to take him to work. Then after we dropped him off I had to head over to my sister's house to drop Michael off. I was there for about 15 minutes then had to head back in the direction of my hubby's job so that I could go to the hospital (where Elizabeth's appointments are). After we were done there I went back to Catelin's and got Michael. I was just going to hang out with her for a while before Rob got off work but he called and needed me to bring him something for work out of the car. So we loaded back up and drove to his work. Originally I was only going to be there for just a second then was going to have to go back to Catelin's and then back again to his work but ended up just waiting there. Which was nice because I was with him but it was awful because there was no air...just a fan haha!!! Atleast it was still cooler than the 103 degrees that it was outside!!!

This is exciting...my little munchkin is going into 1st grade next week and they have their open house tonight!! I can't believe he is already in 1st grade!!! Maybe this time I won't forget my camera... here lately I have had a horrible habbit of forgetting it when we go places.

On the down side to my busy day yesterday and the exciting thing we get to do later is that Elizabeth has gotten a little cold :(...plus she got shots yesterday!! I feel so bad and I just want her to feel better! I got up at 2:30 am to feed her and she was freezing so I cuddled with her and she fell asleep with me on the couch. Then when she woke up early this morning she was absolutely burning up!!! So I gave her some of the medication her Dr. gave me in case she ran a fever (shots can make then do that)!!! Poor little baby not only that but she has a horribly stuffy nose... she will be better soon though!!!!

Weekend Getaway

So here we are at our marriage retreat...and I must say they actually put us in a nice hotel!

sleepy heads

So it has been a long day and I have been up since super early. Good news is that I was able to film a video during one of Elizabeth's short naps! She just did not want to nap long at all today haha... i just can't believe how big she is! Today she ate a whole thing of peas and she is doing sooo great at learning to sit up on her own. Words can't describe how proud I am. Well believe it or not plans for this weekend are all set up. My wonderful hubby signed us up for a marriage retreat so I am excited to be going again this year! (no its not like the movie haha) I am sure I will post some pics also assuming I dont forget to take pics lol... I always take my camera intending to and then I either forget or just don't do it. Well I am off to bed with my little angel since it is just the two of us tonight! night everyone, lindz
