A messy baby and cute smiles

This what my living room looked like just a few minutes ago...

Well now it has been more than just a few minutes since I had to upload the pics haha... while I did that she had a nightime nap and her teeth, or should I say tooth, brushed hehe! I just love her cute little smiles every single day they always melt my heart. Normally I can never get her to smile at the camera, but tonight she decided to look up and smile every single time I took a picture.

So yes, my living room gets destroyed every day and cleaned up every day too! I keep her toys in there now since she is still too little go and play alone with them in her room, but I don't mind one bit. I love waking up to the site of all her toys and then to her standing and bouncing at the end of her crib excited to see me more and more every single time!

P.S. Did you notice that her shoes don't match? That's because she won't keep any of her others on her feet but these ha ha! I guess she likes these more because they squeak everytime she bounces or walks in them...

Missing Sissy

All this talk about my sister lately has really had me missing her... I talk about her more than any of my other siblings because we are so much closer and she lives far far away from me. It's so weird that I am all the way on one side of the U.S. and she is all the way on the other! It really does sadden me, especially since her birthday is coming up in just a few weeks so I am sad that I can't spend it with her.

I guess I just decided to take today's post and turn it into a sister post ha ha...

Then here we are at my wedding haha... there was also a really cute picture of us dancing together, no not slow dancing haha, at my reception, but I have no idea what happened to it. Funny thing though is that she was actually pregnant here, so we always joke about how we were both pregnant at each other's wedding!

This picture is actually at her first baby's baby shower.. funny thing is that I was pregnant but didn't know it just yet here, I just had a feeling that I might be haha!

This last picture is one of my favorite... it's actually right after I had Elizabeth she was less than just a few weeks old! Here we are at her hubby's, Tristan, homecoming ceremony... little did she know she would be pregnant again, with my new little niece, literally a few days after this was taken haha!

Sorry that I didn't post any younger pics of us, I couldn't find any on my computer so hence the ones that I posted instead! Did you guys notice though that like one of us is pregnant in like every single picture, we joke all the time about how one of us has been pregnant for the past 2 years, except right now. I guess we make that joke since everytime we have a birthday someone is too pregnant to go out and celebrate with the other one haha!

My very tired sissy haha...and new baby! She looks just like Zoie did when she was born...

This picture makes me want to cry everytime I see it... so happy that he was able to be there for this one.. My sister and I both know what it's like to experience having babies while your hubby is overseas... believe me, it is no walk in the park!

Welcome Buttercup Number 2!

Today was the day... my sister had baby number two! I always called her little baby buttercup and she always has called mine cupcake (just a little inside joke haha). She was born at 9:13 a.m. and was 7lbs and 7oz... sadly, she is sooo far away from me so I haven't met my precious new little niece. She did send me a pic and she is so adorable. I will try to post a pic of her up soon. So I just want to say Happy Birthday little one!! Her name is Khloe Elaine and I can't wait to shower her with the same love that I have my other little buttercup, her big sissy, Zoie. I have posted pics before of my sister and Zoie so be sure to read some of my older posts for those!

Walking Babies, Traveling, and Busy Busy Days

Here lately I have really been slacking when it comes to my blogs... but not by choice! I have just been extremely busy with family and being back and forth to different hospitals. My hubby had two minor surgeries and lots of doctor appointments, and then his mom had surgery Friday. So I have gotten very aquainted with hospitals here lately. Thankfully they are both fine, and doing really well.

It was such a relief to get back home last night. After I made the long drive all by myself to my mom's from my mother-in-law's to get the kids, I got a nap in at her house, then headed back to my house. Before I could even come home though I had to return some movies that were already late haha... then stopped by the Dollar Tree to get some snacks. I LOVE that place, everything is only one dollar or less and we have a store here that's huge!! Then, we left there and had to go to Wal-Mart to get some baby stuff and milk and things like that.

I was up till like almost 4 this morning not being able to sleep, it was extremely windy outside and I hate it when it storms lol. You will all be so proud to know that I did manage to film 2 new videos for you guys and that I have already edited one. It is saving and I will probably start to upload it within the next half an hour... OH! I also worked on my lighting some last night and I must say, I am pretty proud of myself. Aside from all the traveling I have been doing lately... I have a little one here that has started her first stages of walking and I must say... I am one proud mama!! She is still having some trouble with it and only manages about three steps before she falls, but it is just too too cute! I may have already blogged about that already, I can't remember though, so I am telling you again ha ha. It's so hard to believe she is just a little over 9 months already... seems like just yesterday I was in the hospital having her, and now she is about to be a year old!!

One Big Whirlwind

It seems like my life has just been one big huge whirlwind lately! All over the place, and in and out of hospitals because my hubby had two minor surgeries... yes he is ok! I haven't had much time to blog or do anything at all... not to mention my internet hasn't been doing all the things it is suppose to ha ha. It took me quite some time just to get my newest video to upload, but it is finally up.

Today has been an INCREDIBLY looooong day. My hubby's mom had surgery today so we got to the hospital at 5:30 a.m. and just got home and it is just before 7p.m. now... I ended up falling asleep in her room that they have her in. We had to get up at like 4 this morning so we were all definitely sleepy. We are staying at her house and my hubby has off work all week so he can stay with her. I have to head back Monday to get the kids from my mom and then make the four hour drive back to get him next weekend! So I will be totally exhausted hahaha!

I hope that all of you have been having a less crazy past few weeks and been able to relax a little more after the holidays than we all have. I am just thankful that everything has went smoothly and that everyone is ok!  Surprisingly I managed to film and edit and upload a new movie so be sure to check it out on my beauty channel, or you can visit my beauty blog!

Guess Who Has a Tooth!

Guess which member of my house finally has their first little tooth?

This pic is a little blurry since she was "in motion"... she isn't walking just yet, although she has taken a step and then fallen! I can't believe how big she is getting and I am so happy she finally has her first little tooth! It makes me so proud!!

My Weekend Retreat

Here lately my weekends have been insanely busy because of the holidays. So this weekend we have decided to make our weekend retreat our house haha! Well, except yesterday... After Michael got home from school yesterday, we packed his bag since he is gone for the weekend, then we went to get him a haircut! Unfortunately, she didn't really do that great of a job and once we left I noticed what she didn't do... so I guess that means we will be fixing it when he gets home!! Then, after we dropped him off we went to Wal-Mart and got a couple things for Elizabeth that she needed. After Wal-Mart we were both hungry so we went to eat Mexican...yummy!! Right after we finished eating and were about to leave, my husband looked and me and said, "I don't wanna go home yet." So we went to the Dollar Tree ha ha, I always love it there because they have SOOO much stuff and it's all only ONE DOLLAR! I got me a couple things like shower caps and they had this brand of hair spray that I was curious about because it was identical to the "big sexy hair" brand. After all that we decided to go to Hastings which is a huge video/book/music store... we rented some movies and then came home.

Oh! I almost forgot, right after my hubby had his surgery yesterday morning he wanted to to go Chic Fil-A haha, then we went to this discount retail store place that was really cool, then we went home to get Michael when he got off the bus!!

I was too sleepy last night to watch any of the movies, so we didn't get started on them until today....

Right now as I type this my husband is about to start some steaks on the grill and then we are going to watch the other movies that we have left to watch!

Other than watching movies today and me getting a nap in, I did manage to trim my hair... Yes! I trim my own hair sometimes. I should do a tutorial on how to do that the next time I have to get it cut... Do you guys think that would be a good idea? It's super easy to do.

Well I am off to go get the baby who is mad because she can't get past the baby gate right now...

Coolest Coffee Mug EVER!

This is what my son got me for Christmas...and if you know me then you know that I LOVE me some coffee! My favorite is from Starbucks, it's their white chocolate mocha. Sadly yesterday I went to a new Starbucks that I had never been to before and order that and it was absolutely the worst and most disgusting thing I have ever tasted lol... so I decided to make my own version this morning and used this awesome new mug!

Isn't this the cutest coffee mug ever? When I opened it I got really excited, I love stars lol! I asked him, "What made you think that I would like it?" and he said, "Because I knew you would like it!" HAHA or something along those lines..

Disappointing Morning

This morning we all got up early and got ready because we thought my husband was having his surgery today... drove all over the place because he had to get x-rays... poor thing has been in such pain and then come to find out his surgery isn't even until Friday!

Before his appointment I wanted to get some coffee because I thought I was going to be sitting there waiting forever with the baby... sooooo I decided to hit up Starbucks which is my favorite place to get coffee. I always get the same thing, a venti white chocolate mocha with no whip cream... I had never been to this Starbucks before and I WILL NOT be going back! Let's just say that it was so horrible that the after taste in my mouth was making me sick to my stomach! I don't know if they are usually this horrible at this particular one, but it was definitely horrible today. I was going to just come home and make my own makeshift white chocolate mocha (I already had the white chocolate chips at home haha) but I decided not to.

It's not a little after 1:33 p.m. here and Michael will be home from school at about 3:15. OH!! So let me tell you all what happened today, we were totally NOT happy about it!

Before we went on vacation we put our trash at the end of the drive to be picked up... after we got back today I noticed that while we were away they had put a bright yellow sticker on the lid of the trash can saying that we were behind on a payment. First off we have lived here for about 15 months and have never once had to make any sort of payment. We rent our house so we just assumed that the trash can that was here when we moved in was just something that was along with the house! We were never told any differently. I called the company and discovered that the last client that they had in their system from our address cancelled their account in August of 2010! They had nothing in there saying that we were one of their customers... Then a woman gets on the phone and tried to tell me that I have to pay them for the past year and three months in advance and that the people that lived here before must have accidentally left their trash can! Well, think about it. What trash service tells you to come and get your trash can when you sign up and then tells you to bring it back afterwards haha... Secondly, they also knew that their last known client from our address was gone so why were they picking up our trash for the last year and never said anything (guess they just did their end of year inventory and noticed they were missing a bin)! The rediculous thing was that they are trying to force us to pay saying we owe then money and were late on a payment when we have never signed up for their service or signed anything. It would make more sense to me for us to just settle it 50/50 since they were at fault for picking our's up without us even having an account with them, and it's our fault for us not knowing any better!! Not only were they telling us that we owed them the money they wanted it right now! Who does business like that? That makes no sense... Plus I am definitely not going to pay them three months in advance, heck we could move to another house by then!

So there is my little rant today about someone trying to force me to pay them money when I don't even have an account with them nor am I even in their system! Then tried to make it out like it was all my fault! I guess she thought she was talking to an idiot haha!

Back Home Again!

So we finally got back home from our little 5 day trip last night...later than expected, but we made it home safely! We all had a really great time though and did some shopping while we were there so that's always fun haha...

We got there on the 29th and didn't really do anything until that Saturday(New Year's) when we had a belated family Christmas dinner with his family and opened gifts. Then, for New Year's the hubby and I were going to go and find something to do but decided at the last minute to just stay in... it had been a long and tiring day with the dinner and all that earlier that day! We were on east coast time so it was nice that when the ball dropped in New York that it was actually New Year's for us too haha!

We went to the mall on the 1st but once again forgot what day it was (Sunday) so ended up only being there like 45 minutes since they closed at 6 haha! I did get to stop by Sephora that day so that was atleast a plus... Thankfully we came back the next day and actually did some shopping... I went to MAC and Forever 21 and got a few things too!

After the mall we ate at this place called Sticky Fingers. Surprisingly it was really good! I didn't know what to expect with a name like that, but my hubby kept talking about how great it was! It's kinda like a barbeque place... they have ribs and stuff like that there! Then we hit up Toys R Us for Michael. The kids got some gift cards to go there so he was really excited to use one of them haha!

Finally once we got back to Rob's mom's house we packed up the stuff into the car and started on our trip back home, which I drove! Unfortunately I didn't take a lot of pictures, but I do have a few to share with you guys!

Rob was holding Elizabeth in the rocking chair.. this was right before we opened gifts! She absolutely LOVES my Hello Kitty camera case haha... if she can get her hands on it she is chewing away lol, just like she is as I am typing this!

Here she is after opening her gifts... notice the camera case in the floor beside her toy haha!! No the air compressor in the box is not her's lol, it's my hubby's!

This is just an old funny picture that I wanted to share... I told ya... she always has that case haha! This is the David's Bridal box that my bridesmaids dress for a friend's wedding came in and she LOVED it!
